The Asia West East (AsiaWE) Centre is a regional research center dedicated to the studies of security, diplomacy, and socio-political, economic, cultural, and social developments in the east and west of Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic environments.
East Asia includes West Asia which refers to the Middle East, and Southeastern and Northeastern countries with a special focus on ASEAN.

AsiaWE Review is another tool to achieve the aforementioned objectives.
AsiaWE Review provides a venue for analysts and experts to disseminate content on a wide-range of subjects about ASEAN and the Middle East, oftentimes overlooked or under-represented by Western-dominated media.
Observers often follow major developments in the Middle East and ASEAN regions separately. However, the AsiaWE founders noticed the lack of attention to relations between developments in these regions and their mutual effects.
According to AsiaWE, this gap needs to be filled in by accurate monitoring, research of ongoing activities, and establishing connections or disruptions in the required communication.
